The Biggest Lie ever uttered by a U.S. President

The Big Lie. Perhaps the biggest lie ever uttered by a U.S. President:

 "If you like your present healthcare policy, you can keep it, period. No one will take it away from you. No matter what. You will be able to keep your doctor, period." 

That was a LIE and we heard it so many times from the Obama's lips. Why did he lie? Because if he had told the truth, he and the Democrats wouldn't have been able to sell Obamacare. But then that's the standard M.O. for liberals and progressives. They can ONLY get elected by lying. They never tell the truth. 

If they ever told the truth about their true intentions, very few Americans would ever vote for them. If Obama had actually told voters that he wanted to see an increasing number of Americans out of work and on food stamps, who would've voted for him? If he had told voters that he wanted to "cut America down to size" and reduce our standing in the eyes of the world, who would've voted for him? If he had told Americans that he wanted to redistribute the wealth of the producers and give it to the "takers"--who would've voted for him. He had to LIE to get elected.

Now at least 15 million Americans have had their healthcare coverage cancelled and there will be millions more to follow. Another BIG LIE, because these policies were regulated and most of the policy holders were HAPPY with their coverage.  But the President and his Democrat allies are rationalizing that these policies were "sub-standard", "lousy" or "skeletal plans." And the President's spokesman, Jay Carney, is likening the Health Insurers to the Wild West where anything goes and unregulated crummy policies were sold to unsuspecting consumers. All of  which is another big LIE and attempt to justify the reason why millions are being kicked off their present healthcare coverage.

Another BIG LIE: The President said that the average family would save around $2400 a month in premiums. WRONG. Most families and individuals are seeing their healthcare premiums skyrocket by hundreds of dollars and their deductible amount is now double, triple or quadruple in cost!

What we have is a President who is a Dictator. He dictates to you and me what kind of coverage we can have and how much we have to pay for it. He determines what is "good" coverage. He determines what is "adequate coverage." He is the Dictator who knows what is good for you because you are too stupid to buy the right coverage for yourself. You're too dumb to know what's best for your family. That's why you have the President and his Democrat allies--they're the smartest and brightest. They will lead you and me out out of the darkness. They will light the way to affordable health care. They care about you--way more than those evil Republicans who want to starve the elderly and babies, and wanted to leave you to rot with your lousy sub-standard, skeletal, crummy health plan as well as your choice of your own stupid doctor, and your affordable monthly premium. How awful is that?!!

Obama's solution to the Washington Navy Yard Massacre: More disarmed people!!

Last Sunday, President Barack Obama called for changes to gun laws while speaking at a memorial service honoring the 12 people killed by a gunman at the Washington Navy Yard. Never let a massacre by a crazed killer go to waste. 

President Obama said:

"We don't take the basic common sense actions to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and dangerous people." That is administration code words for gun-grabbing, national firearms registry, restricting the kinds of firearms that a citizen can own, magazine capacities, etc. The rhetoric is always the same!

I agree we need to keep weapons from crazies, including weapons like firearms, knives, baseball bats, pipe bombs, large rocks, etc. But we don't mitigate the situation by restricting the gun ownership by 99.9% of the law-abiding citizens.

Here's something for the President and all his liberal buds to consider, and maybe offer us an explanation. How can this senseless tragedy occur in Washington DC where we already have the toughest gun-control laws in the nation? The military even prohibits personnel from carrying personal weapons on base. So, the President's answer to this tragedy is MORE gun-control laws? We're NOT even enforcing the existing gun-laws that are on the books.

A crazed gunman enters the Navy Yard with a ton of DISARMED people, and kills twelve of them. So what does Obama propose? MORE DISARMED PEOPLE!!

What does the mass shooting at the Washington Navy Yard have in common with the Aurora, Colorado shooting and the Sandy Hook massacre of school children? All three heinous acts were perpetrated by mentally-ill individuals who needed psychiatric treatment. Have you heard the President tackling this issue which is at the heart of these mass shootings? The silence is deafening!! All I hear is crickets. 

One question needs to be answered on the Benghazi anniversary

Today, Sept. 11, marks the one-year anniversary of the terrorist attack on the U.S. embassy in Libya where Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith and Ty Woods were murdered. A month later, Obama said regarding the attack that "this is my biggest priority now...bringing those folks to justice, and I think the American people have seen that's a commitment I'll always keep."

Do you believe that? It's been a
year and we've identified the participants, they've been interviewed on CNN, but still no one has been apprehended. Nothing has been done.
I have only one question that remains unanswered:
A year ago today....
where was  Obama BETWEEN the hours of  5pm to 1am?

What was he doing? Why have we never been given his minute-by-minute schedule and whereabouts during the terrorist attack on our embassy in Benghazi? When we took out Bin-Laden, Obama and Hillary were together in the White House situation room? Who was in the situation room during this attack where 4 Americans were slaughtered? Was the situation room empty? As far as we know, it was dark and no one was there. Where were they? Where was President Obama during this attack?

Mr. President, what happened to your "cool" diplomacy?

Obama wants to go to war with Syria? Why? Because they crossed a "red line." And, now we learn that it wasn't "his" red line, it's the international community's red line and Congress' red line. Obama never takes responsibility for any thing including his OWN words in 2012 where he said it was HIS RED LINE.

Whatever happened to Obama's Magical Diplomacy?

What happened to diplomacy? When he ran for prez in 2008, Obama mocked Bush for his "war-mongering" tendencies (even though Bush assembled 50 nations to support his war against Iraq) and said what was needed was diplomacy. Barack Hussein Obama assured us that he could win the respect of the international community. He assured us that he could arrive at a peaceful solution to conflicts rather than resorting to war. Yeah, and how's that working out Mr. President? Thus far, the international community thinks he's a joke and no one wants to join him in his "shot across the bow" to Syria. Obama has LESS respect among the nations of the world than here at home. They have come to realize that he can't be trusted and he is not fit to lead a group of children as a crossing guard across the street much less a war against Syria.

What does a "shot across the bow" mean?

Even if it is just a shot across the bow, when one takes such a shot it is a warning of future action if the warning is not heeded, but in this case WHAT FUTURE ACTION? We don't have a plan for the Middle Syria. The way this "shot across the bow" has been described, it sounds like just another thicker red line, sort of like voting present. And what happens if Syria resorts to chemical weapons again?

When Obama addresses the nation on Tuesday evening, most of America will tune him out. He's a summer rerun when the new fall shows are starting. He has exhausted his credibility. He has lied to us on too many occasions. How about "Fast and Furious", Solyndra, ACA honey pot, IRS, Benghazi, NSA? He lied about the cause of death of the 4 Americans in Benghazi and we still don't know what the President was doing from 5pm to 1am on Sept. 11, 2012. And we have a press corps with zero curiosity. No one has pressed him for his minute-by-minute whereabouts on Sept. 11.

Going to war against Syria will NOT restore America's credibility. We have no credibility among our allies or our enemies. America's credibility will NOT be restored until Obama is out of office. And since when do we go to war to protect the reputation and credibility of a foolish president who doesn't really care about what's going on in Syria or the Middle East. The only thing he cares about is his next golf game.

Some questions I'd like answered regarding the NSA and their spying on ordinary Americans

In his book, A Time for Truth, William Simon (Nixon's Treasury Secretary) wrote about freedom when describing his trip to the old Soviet Union, saying that while they were never directly bothered by anyone there, they were aware of being under constant observation. It was on the flight back to the U.S. that he gained a true understanding of the nature of freedom: when the pilot announced they had left Soviet air space, everyone visibly relaxed. Simon wrote that it was at that moment that he realized that it's easy to take freedom for granted because it isn't a presence in our lives, but an absence. 

Here are some questions I'd like answered regarding the NSA and the new revelations of their breaking thousands of laws and spying on ordinary Americans: 

• Why wasn't the NSA with all their data mining about to detect and prevent the Boston massacre? They even had explicit warnings from the Russians.
• Why was the NSA was not able to stop the Maj. Nidal Hassan from committing his jihad slaughter of 13 individuals at Ft. Hood along with 33 who were injured? We had ample evidence of his radical Islamic beliefs several years earlier and didn't need any data mining to discover that he was becoming radicalized.
• Where is there any real accountability with the NSA? Security agencies like the NSA define their own legal standards and have no real accountability. 
• Where is the judge who rules on these privacy invasions? 
• Where is the court where an ordinary citizen like myself can appeal this personal intrusions? What mechanism ever informs an individual that his rights have been violated?
• How can we trust those who are in charge of our national intelligence when the director of national intelligence lied to the American people with no consequences? If we lie to the federal government under oath, we face imprisonment.
• Explain why phone records of the 202 area code were mistaken for the dialing code of Egypt, (20)? Why was the 202 area code even available for such an error. This is a database query, so the records had to be in the database to query them. Which means that somebody, somewhere, thought that they should be or thought that they should not have been excluded from the collection.
• Why should we believe anyone in this administration or those heading up the NSA or national intelligence when thus far, they have lied to us on numerous occasions and proven to be less than truthful in the scope and amount of data being searched?
• President Obama assures the American people that there is no evidence of this data being abused or misused against the American people. In light of the IRS going after Tea Party groups, and the Justice Dept. going after Fox reporter, James Rosen, why should we not believe that this information could be used against any American to destroy their life or put them in jail just because they are opposed to this administration?

I propose that we award the medal of freedom to Edward Snowden

Everyday, it's like peeling an onion, layer after layer, bringing tears to our eyes and now justified fears that our privacy has been invaded by a government that's out of control. In this alphabet soup of scandals (IRS, DEA, HHS, OMB, etc.) I'm talking about the NSA (National Security Agency) which we now learn has violated privacy laws thousands of times. They probably read this blog post before you!

The NSA was granted broad new powers in 2008. Who controlled congress in 2008? Oh, that's right--the Democrats under Nancy Pelosi. This broad expansion of the NSA's power was not done by George Bush, but rather by Obama and his congress. We now learn that the DEA is receiving intelligence from the NSA on ordinary American citizens which they use for prosecution of "supposed" crimes. We have a government that sits in Washington DC and sees you and me as potential criminals, ripe for prosecution. How scary it that?

Edward Snowden, now a fugitive,  exiled in Russia

I don't know what you think, but right now, I'm ready to award the medal of freedom to whistle-blower, Edward Snowden who is languishing in Russia and may never step foot on U.S. soil again. Many pundits on the right have labelled him a traitor, but I'm not one of them. I don't march in lockstep with the right or the left. I'm thankful that Snowden dumped all this "secret" information and started this national conversation on security and privacy. We wouldn't be talking about this had it not been for Edward Snowden. We'd still be believing the lies of the James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence (what an oxymoron!), who perjured himself under oath when he was asked by Sen. Ron Wyden if the NSA collected any data at all on hundreds of millions of Americans? His answer: "No Sir." (Watch the video yourself at the end of this post).

Here's what I would do about Edward Snowden, along with giving him the medal of freedom. I would exonerate him of all charges, reinstate his passport, provide free passage back to the U.S. along with a government-paid-for-tax-free home and land (with no property taxes) to compensate him for all that he has been through, and well as to reward his efforts on behalf of our freedom and liberty.

In my next post, I have some questions that I'd like answered regarding the NSA and their invasion of our privacy in the name of fighting the evil of terrorism (which DOES exist and needs to be taken more seriously than our President takes it. Instead of Islam being the enemy, Obama sees you, me, Republicans, conservatives, Rush Limbaugh, etc. as the enemy). If Obama had a city, it would look like Detroit!

(This just in: Bill Nojay writes in today's Wall Street Journal about his 8-mo. stint at the chief operating officer of the Detroit Dept. of Transportation. Almost daily, he found problems arising along with solutions but implementing them in Detroit was IMPOSSIBLE. You must read this first hand account of how this dysfunctional city is being run.)
Obama has said, “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin.” And, if Obama had a city, it would look like Detroit. In fact, Detroit is the poster-child and metaphor for what thieves and parasites can do to destroy a great American city. Detroit is our modern day "Mad Max"-- a reflection of where Obama and the Democrat party want to take America

In 1961, the last Republican mayor left office. Detroit has been run by Democrats on an unbroken streak for the past 52 yrs. In 2009 Detroit Public School students had the lowest scores ever recorded in the national math proficiency test over a 21-year history. Only 1.8 percent of students were considered capable of doing college level work. Corruption is rampant, Detroit has been voted the most dangerous city in America. 34.5 percent are on food stamps. Out-of-wedlock birthrate is 75 percent. Yet the city doubles down on Democrat policies and politicians. In a city of 700,000, only 6000 voted for the Republican presidential candidate! 98% voted Democrat! Detroit is a prime example of “getting the government you vote for.”

According to Zev Chafet's book, "Devil's Night: and Other True Tales of Detroit" (this book is about to be re-published thanks to overwhelming demand in recent days)--it's not just liberalism that reduced Detroit to rubble; it was race and racism.

In the early 1960s, the city was segregated along racial lines with blacks squeezed into small neighborhoods. Racial tensions mounted erupting into the Detroit Riots of 1967 which prompted a mass exodus of whites from Detroit, abandoning Detroit for the suburbs and moving into homes that were unfinished with no electricity or water. They couldn’t get out of “Motor City: fast enough.

In 1973, the majority black population elected Coleman Young, a black, radical leftist who did not believe in turning the other cheek. He accused whites of trying to control Detroit from outside the city. During his 20-year reign, Mr. Coleman ignored crime, inflamed racial tensions and built a patronage machine" He went to war with the city’s major institutions and then sought help from the government in the form of subsidies. As Detroit’s government became less and less effective, even middle-class blacks fled the city.

Mayor Young divided Detroit according to race, creating separate layoff lists for white and black officers. He and his handpicked police chief made it clear to the officers that too many tickets and too many arrests were being made in the black community (much as Obama is charging today). One black officer confided to a journalist, “I wouldn’t write tickets for black kids.”

Meanwhile, the increasingly distressed city became a fiscal ward of the state and federal governments. As Ms. Jacoby wrote, by the late 1970s federal grants paid the salaries of up to one-third of Detroit's workforce.

As history shows, sending more cash to Detroit won't fix its breakdown in self-government. Another bailout would merely support its toxic political culture of neglect and corruption.

In closing, there are some wonderful, dedicated Christian groups working to bring hope and restoration to Detroit. In various parts of the city, there are some encouraging signs of renewal, thanks to the prayers and tireless efforts of a number of faithful Christian believers. 

However, here’s my parting thought: Detroit needs more than just a handout, or even an urban renewal campaign. Detroit needs an honest-to-goodness REVIVAL that starts with repentance (a change in thinking, behavior, a radical 180-degree turn in another direction). It would be awesome if some esteemed black evangelist (are there any?) who truly preaches the Word of God would come to Detroit and have a month-long campaign, nightly calling the people of Detroit to repent and get right with God and their fellow man. The black residents of Detroit need to repent for the racist attitudes toward the white man, and especially their hatred for those who are white, conservative Republicans. The black community needs to repent of their victimization mindset and start taking responsibility for themselves and their families. I would also hope that the evangelistic campaign in the heart of Detroit would also draw whites from the surrounding communities who repent as well for their racist attitudes and bigotry and lack of love or concern for their black neighbor.

If there is true repentance, maybe then, there can be hope for change (sounds like an Obama campaign slogan) along with solid teaching from the Word of God on loving God, loving your neighbor, on the Good Samaritan, righteousness and walking uprightly, hating evil and loving that which is good—then maybe, Detroit can be reborn from the ashes of hopelessness and despair

Racial Profiling in not the problem--it's part of the solution.

The race hucksters (you know who they are. But if in doubt, read my previous post) would now like us to believe that racial profiling is racist. In fact, Pres. Obama has suggested that we consider new laws to ban racial profiling. In 2008 after Obama was elected, the FBI and CIA got their orders: No more profiling, no more calling certain Muslims "terrorists" or "jihadists" or "Islamic radicals."

I've always thought that this effort to avoid racial profiling was an idiotic effort with deadly consequences. After 9-11 when we knew that our terrorist attackers were all middle-eastern Muslims, in the name of political correctness, we decided to not racially profile anyone at our airports. Instead, the TSA was told to select "at random" every 10th person in line. Who came up with this idiotic idea? What if the terrorist is the 8th person standing in line? Or the 5th person? Invariably, the person chosen by our brilliant TSA officers is a nun, or an elderly person, or a 6-yr old handicapped child.

If it is true that African-American males are viewed suspiciously, it is probably because statistically, they commit a disproportionate amount of crime. If that were not true, they would probably be given no more attention as supposed suspects that is accorded to white, asian or Latino youths.

Blacks are being told by this president and his attorney general, along with the help of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson that their biggest threat is racial profiling by the police. These so-called back leaders who point the finger at external causes are helping to destroy black america.

Following an incident in Cincinnati in 2001, civil rights leaders organized a boycott of the city and charged the police with abuse of black youth. As a consequence, the police reduced their patrols in black neighborhoods, and arrests declined dramatically, because cops did not want to be accused of racism. During this period of the boycott, a total of 74 shootings occurred in black neighborhoods, leaving 80 people wounded or dead--an 800 percent increase over the previous year's figures of 9 shootings and 11 victims.

In Los Angeles 12 yrs. Ago, gang activity and violence sharply increased after the dismantling of the police gang unit that was accused of racism. In a similar situation in Prince George's County, MD., 61 people were killed in the first seven months of that year, compared with only 71 the entire previous year. Carjackings doubled, and robberies rose 37 percent. The county police reportedly were participating in an informant slowdown, after being accused of racism. Their reported philosophy: "No contact, no complaints."

"If black America continues down this lethal path of self-deception, the protest leaders will not bear the cost arising from the fabricated complaint of racial profiling--no it will be the sons and daughters who live in these

high crime areas which are most in need of protection but will receive none because the police of afraid of being deemed "racists."

All this talk about racial profiling is a diversionary tactic to avoid the real issue of the lack of morality in the black community. 90 percent of black murder victims are killed by other blacks, not white. Today's civil rights' leaders are swatting at gnats and ignoring the elephant in the room. 73 percent of all black children are born without fathers married to their mothers. Today's black leadership is living off of the fumes of racism. It's a cottage industry. They are the race-hustlers who want their people to think that their biggest problem is the white man when in reality, it's other blacks along with a lack of morality. It's time for the black community to look in the mirror and clean up their own backyard.

Obama: Race-Huckster-In-Chief does it again!

I can't keep up with this guy. I'm talking about the President of the United States. Yesterday, I was all set to upload my latest post on "race hucksters", and then Obama gives his now infamous speech to let
everyone know that "Trayvon Martin could have been me thirty-five years ago." I don't think so. Let's give the President a dose of reality here: When Barry was Travon's age he was in an expensive private school in Hawaii and hung at the beach getting "high" with white kids.

In another attempt to bolster his black-identity cred, Obama also noted that he too has heard people locking their car doors as he walks toward them. Well that's because they probably think he wants to steal more money from their wallets! However a different take on this comment comes from former black congressman and Lt. Col. Allen West who says,

"I am a black male who grew up in the inner city of Atlanta and no one ever followed me in a mall. I don't recall any doors clicking when I crossed the street. And I never had anyone clutching their handbag when I got on an elevator. I guess having two awesome parents who taught me to be a respectful young man paid dividends."

Bless his heart, Obama has to insert himself into everything, especially if it involves race. Why? Because he is our Race-Huckster-In-Chief. He is a race-baiter who in his typical Alinsky-style, honed from experience as a community agitator in Chicago, wants to divide the races rather than unite. Even Trayvon Martin's parents along with the FBI said that this tragedy was NOT about race. In fact, George Zimmerman (a registered Democrat) had spent his spare time tutoring young black kids. But you can't let the facts get in the way when you are the Race-Baiter in Chief for the United States.

We have the first black president in the country's history, who through circumstance grew up as a child of privilege, professing to teach us something about race, even though he vacations in lily-white, exclusive Martha's Vineyard, staying in a 7.6 million dollar home where all his neighbors would lock their doors and call the police if Trayvon Martin were walking down their street.

Seriously! Where was Obama speeches on "race" speeches when Channon Christian and Chris Newsom, both WHITE, were kidnapped by 4 BLACKS, beaten, brutally raped, Channon had bleach poured down her throat to try to hide the nasty monsters DNA then suffocated while her boyfriend was raped and shot then set on fire.

I sure don't remember him making any statements about the black-on-black genocide taking place in his home town of Chicago. Since 2008, more than 530 youth have been killed in Chicago with nearly 80 per-cent of the homicides occurring in 22 Black or Latino communities on the city's South side. But why would

he? That would place the blame where it belongs, on a culture of violence and entitlement in the black community.

As National Review columnist Lee Habib has pointed out, if George Zimmerman is guilty of anything, he's guilty of not being black. If he had been black, then there would be no outrage. Obama would've kept his mouth shut. Al Sharpton wouldn't be out trying to incite riots. The media would not even have covered this story, if George Zimmerman had been black. Why? Because in America, the dirty little secret is that the race hucksters and race-baiters like Obama and Sharpton can't get any mileage out of black-on-black crime because that would force them to look in the mirror and start addressing the problems in the black community and its lack of morality. Bill Cosby has taken a lot of heat for his address to the NAALCP (National Assoc. for the Advancement of Liberal Colored People) last year where he told them, "We can't blame white people any longer!"

Until then, Mr. President, if you want to help America deal with the issue of race, I suggest you have another beer summit with George Zimmerman--just the two of you, like you did in Cambridge with those "racist" cops. A few beers, a few laughs, a nice photo-op and you and George Zimmerman will be best buds!!

Republicans Join Obama in Arming Terrorists!!

I live in the not-so-great state of Kentucky. It's a poor state that's been run into the ground by Democrats for many decades. We're a welfare state that loves government handouts and loves to tax people. But, having said that, we have the MOST AWESOME senator in the person of Rand Paul. Kentuckians can be proud of Rand Paul, the son of Presidential contender, Ron Paul.

This week, Sen. Rand Paul proposed an amendment that would have prohibited our government from transferring F-16 aircraft and Abrams tanks to Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood-dominated government. This idiotic idea of arming Islamic extremists, came from not only President Obama (who never saw a Muslim extremist that he didn't sympathize with) but also from the Republicans in the Senate.

Last December, in the midst of protests from the Egyptian people against President Mohammed Morsi, some demonstrators yelled out, "President Obama is supporting a terrorist." The U.S. is now financing tyranny in the Middle East, thanks to our 3 billion dollar bailout of this fanatical regime that has instituted Shariah Law and has publicly stated that the Jews descended from apes and pigs (shades of Hitler). In 2010, Morsi appeared in a video encouraging Egyptians to "nurse our children and grandchildren on hatred." Also, a senior aide to Morsi has stated that the holocaust is a myth, invented by America.

Rand Paul has 3 ideas which baffle GOP senators like John McCain, Kelly Ayotte (from NH) and Lindsay Graham among other Senate Republicans: 

1. Rand Paul thinks that American foreign policy ought to be premised on American national interests, not shifting notions of global stability. 
2. Rand Paul believes in this quaint idea that the foundation for all American foreign policy should be the Constitution. Imagine that? This means that our Congress, especially the House of Representatives has the power to de-fund such madness as "arming Arab extremists."
3. Finally, Rand Paul believes that when we give arms and aid to anti-American Islamists, bad things tend to happen to America.

Sen. Rand Paul tried to stop the weapons transfer to Egypt. He was defeated 79-19 because 23 turncoat Republicans (including John McCain, Lindsay Graham, Kelly Ayotte, McConnell, Inhofe, Portman, Toomey, etc.) shamefully joined ALL the Senate Democrats.

I want to recognize the 18 Republicans who joined Senator Rand Paul is trying to stop the arming of America's enemies. These are true patriots: Boozman, Coats, Cornyn, Crapo, Cruz, Fischer, Grassley, Heller, Lee, Moran, Risch, Roberts, Rubio, Scott, Sessions, Shelby, Thune, and Vitter.

These 19 not only evidence common sense, but also the desire and conviction to protect America's interests as well as those of Israel. 

Hillary's Conflict Resolution 101 in the Middle East Is a Waste of Time

This morning as I was at the gym exercising, I'm thinking about the ceasefire agreement that was "hammered" out by Hillary Clinton, Egypt, Hamas & Israel. Does this really mean that we're going to see peace in the Middle East? Don't bet on it. Any peace agreement brokered by Hillary and Mohammed Morsi of Egypt isn't worth the paper it's written on. 

Personally, I would've thought the great arbiter of peace and Nobel prize winner, Barack Obama, would put some skin in the game, show up and get both sides to stop this warfare. But instead, he sends a woman out to do a man's job--Hillary Clinton. 

For Hillary, this is a win-win, because this is nothing more than a "dog and pony show" designed to give the illusion of having secured a "peaceful" settlement to this conflict. Even if it's artificial, fragile and lasts for only a few days, she gets a pass on the whole Benghazi-gate thing where Congress has a series of questions to ask her, for which she hasn't given any straight answers. 

7 yrs ago, Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip, hoping for Peace
For the record, seven years ago, in full view of the world, Israel pulled out of Gaza, dismantling every settlement and withdrawing every soldier. I was there in 2005 shortly after Israel's handover of the Gaza Strip and friends of mine in Israel said it was a waste of time--that it would not bring peace, and they were right. 

What did occur was that Hamas built up strength in the Gaza strip and they have been building up an arsenal of missiles which they get from Iran. This cease-fire does nothing but give them more time to prepare for another assault on Israel.

Even today, as I arrived home from the gym and checked the news, here's the latest headline in USA Today:  

11:23AM EST November 24. 2012 - TEL AVIV — A bus bombing in this seaside city Wednesday appears to be strengthening the Israeli public's support for a ground offensive in Gaza.

A cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas went into effect later Wednesday, but many Israelis say they don't believe it will provide a long-term solution to the rain of rockets into their territory or to renewed acts of terrorism.

"We know that the situation is bad," said Tel Aviv resident Daniel Ramzi, 25, referring to the 8-day-old escalation of hostilities with Gaza. "There's no end. After what happened today, I think that most Israelis think now that we should go in," he said, referring to a possible ground offensive in Gaza.

A Peace Treaty Only Brings Peace When One Side Is Defeated in War

This latest cease-fire agreement with Hamas was a mistake. Israel needs to go in with a ground offensive and wipe Hamas out-completely. They need to defeat Hamas and re-take the Gaza Strip.

Here's a bit of wisdom that I learned from listening to Rush Limbaugh years ago--you can't have peace until your enemy is defeated. You can't sign a peace agreement that is worth anything until one side has been defeated, surrenders and comes to the table willing to sign a meaningful treaty.

Where Would We Be Today If We Had Signed a Peace Agreement with Germany without Defeating Them?

Where would we be today if we had signed a peace agreement with the Germans without defeating them? We'd probably be living under the Nazi Swastika flag. Or, what would life be like for us if we had signed a peace treaty with Japan without having defeated them? Do you really think that Japan would have stopped all its aggression? The ONLY way we came out of WWII with any peace and hope for the future was because Japan and Germany had both been defeated! 

Every peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians is a waste of time until the Palestinians are totally defeated, and give up their thirst to drive Israel into the Mediterranean Sea. Even now, Hamas still believes that Israel shouldn't exist and they are planning their next offensive on Israel.

The next time, and it will arrive in a few days or weeks, Israel needs to go in on a ground offensive and completely destroy Hamas and it's leaders, as well as all their weapons, drive the Palestinians out of Gaza Strip, retaking control of this territory and buffer between Israel and Egypt. Then, Israel might be able to sign a peace agreement with Hamas which would really have some meaning and lasting value.

On election eve, I predict that Mitt Romney will win by a wide-margin. I don’t care about the polls which are rigged by the media to depress the Republican turnout.

Here’s why Romney will win—because the Tea Party still exists and the same Tea Party folks that flocked to the polls in 2010 for the biggest sea-change election since WWII, will once again show up on Tuesday. They are just as angry, probably more so because now they get a chance to vote Obama out of office.

Also, the evangelical vote is flying under the radar and not even being considered, but I predict that MORE evangelical Christians will show up at the polls than in 2008 when we were forced to hold our nose and vote for John McCain. Obama has alienated many Christians with his stance on gay marriage, his emphasis on abortion, his mandate that religious institutions have to give out birth control pills, and his continual “dissing” of Israel. All of these are reasons why evangelicals will show up en masse to send Obama on a permanent golf vacation.  

Now on to my post for today: “Send in the Clowns”

The President along with Leon Panetta, Hillary Clinton, David Pattraeus, the CIA and the State Dept. are all part of a cover-up. Hillary has blamed all the confusion on the “fog of war.” But we know that Obama was informed of the initial attack within 80-min. (11pm Libyan time).

For over two weeks, the President blamed non-existing events (a YouTube video which no one had ever seen) as well as a spontaneous gathering of demonstrators. He even spoke at the UN two weeks after this event and blamed the YouTube video six times during his speech and never once referred to this as a terrorist attack.

For the past 40 yrs., we’ve made a big deal about Watergate as the political scandal for the ages, but Watergate is a misdemeanor when compared with Benghazi-gate where 4 Americans were killed—needlessly, and then the sacrilege of a political cover-up to protect this President and keep the American people in the dark so he could win re-election.

Reminds me of the lyrics to a Stephen Sondheim song: “SEND IN THE CLOWNS”:

Amateur Hour: Obama's Smart Diplomacy Is Not All That Smart

President Obama came to office saying, and apparently believing, that a kinder, gentler, more deferential America would be better respected and loved around the world. However, thanks to his efforts, America's not receiving a whole lotta love these days.

The attacks in Egypt come a little over three years after the embarrassing Obama Cairo speech, in which the president created an entire mythology about the history of Islam, in vain hopes of appeasing his Egyptian hosts. The violence also follows ongoing comical efforts of the administration to assure us that the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is not an extremist Islamic organization bent on turning Egypt into a theocratic state. And the attacks are simultaneous with President Obama’s ongoing and crude efforts to embarrass Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Obama & Hillary: Lies & Apologies to Islam
This is the President who mourned the loss of our 4 embassy staffers including Christopher Stevens, but doesn't mention the attack on the embassy in Egypt. He and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton apologize to the attackers for a movie. Hillary tells us that the Libyans carried Chris Stevens' body to the hospital which is an outright lie (An Arab television station broadcast images of our the ambassador's body being dragged through the streets). Does our President get angry? No. Instead he apologizes for a movie, a movie most protesters haven't even seen,  which neither he or Hillary have seen. 

Then, Obama refuses to take any questions from the press because he's in a hurry and where does he have to be that's more important than the crisis in the Middle East? Obama is headed for Las Vegas for a fundraiser and then on to Hollywood to guest with David Letterman. This is the man whom the mainstream media thinks is a master at foreign policy.

"How long had it been since President Obama attended his daily intelligence meeting in the lead-up to the Sept. 11 attacks on U.S. diplomatic facilities in Egypt and Libya? After all, our adversaries are known to use the anniversary of 9/11 to target the United States.  

Sept. 5 - Last time Obama attended an intelligence briefing 

According to the public schedule of the president, the last time the Obama attended his daily intelligence meeting was Sept. 5 — a week before Islamist radicals stormed our embassy in Cairo and terrorists killed our ambassador to Tripoli. The president was scheduled to hold the intelligence meeting at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, the day after the attacks, but it was canceled ....and Obama apparently chose to skip it altogether and attend a Las Vegas fundraiser for his re-election campaign. One day after a terrorist attack.

But when it comes to intelligence, Obama is apparently so brilliant he can absorb the most complicated topics by himself in his study. He does not need to sit down for up to an hour a day with top intelligence officials, or hold more than 100 “deep dives” in which he invites CIA analysts into the Oval Office and gives them direct access to the commander in chief to discuss their areas of expertise. Such meetings are crutches this president does not need. Written briefings, questions and comments are enough. Obama has more important things to do — such as attend Las Vegas fundraisers."

When it comes to Obama's foreign policy, his effort to appease Islam has been an utter failure, as we have seen in various polls that show no change in anti-American attitudes in the Middle East. 

Obama's National Intelligence Director  (an oxymoron) James Clapper told us during the Arab Spring uprising that “The ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ was NOT a religious group.

Then, the President downsized NASA and told us that NASA would have a new mission.  No longer was NASA going to be focused on big ideas like space stations, or going to Mars.
No, President Obama told our NASA director that he wanted him to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science.” How's that working out?

Obama: Not sure if Egypt is an ally or enemy

Earlier this week in a rare appearance on a non-showbiz outlet, President Obama, winging it on Telemundo, told his host that Egypt was neither an ally nor an enemy. We give 2 billion dollars a year to Egypt and our President can't decide if Egypt is an ally or an enemy. 

Meanwhile, in Pakistan, the local doctor who fingered bin Laden to the Americans sits in jail. Why? Because our President and his White House leaked all the information on the capture of  Osama bin-Laden, to the point of putting the Pakistani doctor's life in jeopardy. Why would our President do such a thing? Because he wants to use the killing of OBL to convince the American people that he is a someone who is tough on terrorism, even if the White House and the Homeland Security Dept. forbid the use of the term "Islamic terrorism."

Meanwhile, terrorist acts like the Ft. Hood shooting where Islamic terrorist, Army Major Nidal Hassan shot and killed 13 soldiers and seriously wounded 31 others has been termed by the White House and the Dept. of Homeland Security as an act of "workplace violence." I suspect that they will also call the killing of our Ambassador and 3 staffers as a tragic instance of "workplace violence" as well. So much for Obama's war on terror.

Obama’s reset on Islam and his Middle East policy was known as “smart diplomacy.” Tragically, after 4 yrs of this “smart diplomacy”, the chickens have come home to roost.

Labor Day 2012: If you don't have a job, it's no holiday!

Here's a quote from today's Washington Times:

 "For 23 million Americans without jobs, the Labor Day holiday is not a day off but just another day without work. It’s a fitting hash mark for the presidential campaign kickoff, reminding Americans of President Obama’s tragic failure to deliver."

Youth unemployment is up to 17.1 percent and the black unemployment has risen to 14.4%. Those who've given up looking for work or can't find work are at an all time high of 14.9%,
 

The President's press secretary, Jay Carney had the audacity to say that all this unemployment isn't really bad news. He thinks it can be healthy for the economy because jobless benefits boost consumption and the money that the unemployed spend creates growth and boosts the economy. Do you believe that? Is that the kind of rhetoric you expect to hear from the President's press secretary? It's idiotic and it epitomizes this administration in every way!!

By the way, Nancy Pelosi and White House senior adviser, Valerie Jarrett, have both said the same thing. (This is the same Nancy Pelosi, a brilliant intellect who told us that the Affordable Health Care Act of 2600 pages had to be passed so we would know what's in it. Duh?!!) It must be the new Democratic talking point to rationalize and justify 8.3% unemployment.

Personally, I think It's part of the BIG LIE which if you tell it often enough, people will begin to believe it. What used to be bad is now good, what was once considered idiotic is now wisdom. If unemployment is such a boost to the economy, let's all quit our jobs and  go on the government dole, and collect our unemployment checks for the next 3 yrs or more.

As we celebrate Labor Day 2012, we need to be reminded that those who are actively working in the Labor Force here in America is 63.8%, the LOWEST number since WWII.

Enjoy your Labor Day weekend. If you have a job, you've earned this day of rest. If you believe in prayer, pray for the 23 million who are out of work and clinging to what little hope they have of getting a job. If you really care about the 23 million, vote for Mitt Romney and real change this coming November. He knows what needs to be done to unleash the private sector and all of our energy resources to create new jobs. Within his first year, probably 3-4 million new jobs will be created and the XL Pipeline will be approved creating new construction jobs for thousands.

If you don't have a job, it's no holiday, it's a not-so-subtle reminder that your president and this administration don't really care about you or your need for work. They're too busy campaigning, fundraising and golfing.
