Obama Spiked the Football and Look What's Happened!

I'm sure you remember President Obama's "Spike the football statement." To refresh your memory, he told CBS News soon after terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden had been killed in a U.S. military raid on his hideout in Pakistan: “You know, we don’t trot out this stuff as trophies. Americans and people around the world are glad that he’s gone. But we don’t need to spike the football,” Obama added.  At the time, Obama cited concerns of inflaming discontent among Muslim extremists in the Middle East.

Since he uttered those words, Obama has given an "exclusive interview" to Brian Williams of NBC filmed inside the White House Situation Room where the national security team watch the bin Laden raid take place.

Compare those words from last year
with the Obama campaign’s newest ad, which marks the one-year anniversary of bin Laden’s death by suggesting that GOP challenger Mitt Romney would not have made a similar decision to smoke out and bring down the al-Qaeda leader. While he hesitated to to offend bin Laden sympathizers, it seems like President Obama now has no issues when it comes to using bin Laden’s death to bolster his own reelection campaign.

The killing of bin Laden was mentioned 21 times at the recent Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC. And you don't think our enemies weren't watching the Democrat Convention over in the Middle East? You think they didn't hear all this bragging? Of course they did!

And here's the point of all this...the media is leading us to believe that an anti-Muslim film decrying Mohammed as a hypocrite and fraud is responsible for the protests in Egypt and the killing of Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and 3 associates in Libya.

The U.S. Embassy puts out this statement apologizing in advance for all the hurt feelings caused by this movie:
The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions (unless you are Catholic and are opposed to abortion or birth control. If you're Catholic, your religious freedom doesn't matter. The same for those who produced the film, "Innocence of Muslims." They have no rights or freedoms according to our media and our government. And if you're Rev. Terry Jones and hate Islam, you have no religious rights or freedoms-you might as well go hang yourself as far as our media and government is concerned.) Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy (unless you are Catholic, or evangelical Christian, or make a film that criticizes Mohammed and Islam, or if you happen to be a pastor from Florida who is convinced that Islam wants to destroy our way of life, then you will get no respect and you have NO rights, according to our media, our government, and Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Pentagon). We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others (in other words, if you don't love Islam and think of it as a religion of peace, then shut the *_ _k up!)
Tearing down U.S. flag at Egyptian Embassy
However, new reports are coming to light that suggest the trigger for these protests was NOT the anti-Islam film, Innocence of Muslims, but Obama himself, with his repeated "spiking of the football."

This is the administration that is so concerned about NOT hurting the feelings of Muslims, and yet they have been bragging non-stop about killing bin Laden. Even their new campaign bumper sticker slogan, "GM's Alive and Osama's Dead." So we've been ramming it down the throats of Islamists all over the world. Is it any wonder that as they were tearing down the U.S. flag at the Egyptian embassy, the protesters were chanting, "We're all Osama's, Obama. We're all Osama's, Obama. We're all Osama's Obama!"

So one might conclude that the one who ignited this uprising in Egypt and Libya is not the producer of some anti-Islamic film, but rather, our very own President Barack Obama, the one who wrote in his autobiography, Audacity of Hope, "I will stand with the Muslims, should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

Well, I would say the political winds have shifted and we know who our esteemed President is siding with, and it's not with the American people or the Constitution.

Muslim protesters kill U.S. ambassador and 3 others. What next??

Unless you've been living in a cave or on a deserted island with no wi-fi, you've seen this headline:

U.S. Ambassador to Libya Is Killed

The attacks occurred Tuesday night in the eastern city of Benghazi by protesters angry over a film that ridiculed Islam's Prophet Muhammad, according to Libya officials.

Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens
It is being reported in the Wall Street Journal that these protesters are "religious extremists." They are not religious extremists but typical everyday Muslims who get angry and violent whenever anyone attacks or criticizes Islam, Mohammed or the Koran. The film in question, which you don't even read about in most of the accounts was made by Egyptian Coptic Christians, titled "Innocence of Muslims." The purpose of this film is to call attention to the hypocrisies of Islam. The film was produced and directed by Sam Bacile, a 56 yr. old Israeli-Jew. It depicts Muhammad as a feckless philanderer who approved of child sexual abuse, among other overtly insulting claims that have caused outrage.

Muslims find it offensive to depict Muhammad in any manner, let alone insult the prophet. A Danish newspaper's 2005 publication of 12 caricatures of the prophet triggered riots in many Muslim countries.

Question: Presidents Geo. W. Bush and Obama have both declared Islam to be a "religion of peace." Is it really? What religion targets and wants to kill anyone who disagrees with them or criticzes them? Newspapers and media outlets around the world cower in fear of Islamic retaliation. They will not criticize Islam in any way, shape or form. Reporters are afraid to write anything that might sound critical of Islam for fear of losing their life. What kind of religion of peace is this? George Bush, are you listening? I doubt it. You along with so many others will conclude that this is just a group of Muslim extremists who did this evil, despicable act. Well, you would be wrong as you so often were, George W. Bush. But don't worry, you're not alone, you are in good company with President Obama, the State Dept., and most of the liberal drive-by media.

This tragic act was not committed by Muslim extremists but by everyday Muslims. It started over a film that was made by Coptic Christians who have suffered persecution and even death at the hands of Islam in Egypt. They have every right to expose the lies and hypocrisy of Islam.

Egyptian protesters tearing down the U.S. flag
Muslims wonder why they are met with suspicion and resistance around our country and the world when they want to be part of our communities, it's events like this they should remember. Committing murder at our Embassy in Libya and storming our Egyptian embassy over a movie about Muhammad that was in a less than favorable light is completely insane and indicative of the Islamic culture. Is their religion so false they have to protect its image with violence in order to keep their followers from abandoning it?

Ft. Hood terrorist, Maj. Nidal Hassan
Today, Obama will still appease Islam by saying that these acts don't represent Islam, but a fringe group of extremists. And when Major Nidal Hassan gunned down 13 military personnel and wounded 29 others, the Obama Regime called it "workplace violence." They refuse to label it terrorism, even though Hassan praised Allah right before he starting shooting. He was also inspired by radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki. Even now, more than two years later, Maj. Nassan has not been tried. So much for swift justice especially for the victims.

President Thomas Jefferson sent the Unites States Marines to Tripoli. President Barry Soetoro Obama sends an apology for hurting Muslim feelings. Today, all you will read about from this President and this administration is a condemnation of efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims.

If you are a Christian and you're reading this post, what can you do? Pray. Join me as I pray the following:
Memorial service for the victims of the Ft. Hood shooting
  • Pray for the families of Ambassador Chris Stevens and the three staffers who were killed. Pray for God's grace and mercy to comfort them in this time of sorrow and grief. Ask God to send believers to them to help them through this dark time.
  • Pray for those who did this, for God's mercy and love and forgiveness to be demonstrated to them.
